Singer and actress and song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the team of One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were included in One Tree Hill's episodes which helped propel her debut album of 2012 to the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached into the Top Ten. In the final decade of her career, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to country music, and eventually went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. But, she began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. Gaston spots on TV shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she was cast in the role in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season, 2007-2008. Kramer played on 90210 in 2008-2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played Alex Dupre. She remained on the show until the end of 2012 when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011, she premiered the modern music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Let Go. This track appeared later on her debut album in mid 2012. The track was a part of into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. The album was released in October 2015. Kramer dropped her debut album thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. With help from the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and the duet she did together with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of 3 on the national album chart as well as number ten in the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months during the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was fourth. That same year, the song"Feels Like" Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was an enormous adult contemporary success.
