Alves was born Rodrigo Alves on 30 July 1983 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to an Brazilian mother and her British father. Her father, Roserval Alves, hailed from an ethnically Portuguese family that arrived in Brazil in the late 1940s. They started with farmingbut soon expanded into retailing and shopping centres. At the age of five, she was when her grandpa gave to her Barbie dolls. Alves was born male, but she considered herself to be female since her age of "three three, four, five to six". Also, she enjoyed playing with dolls, dressed in cross-dresses, and enjoyed playing with dolls. It is her belief that gender should not define the person. When she was younger, she was shy and bullied. Alves suffered from hormone dysfunction during her teenage years. Her body was overloaded with estrogen that caused her breast tissue and other organs to grow. Bullies also targeted her physical characteristics. Alves was born to a family that owns several grocery shops in Brazil. They've been rich for years, however they still don't make a dime from the stores. Alves was 18 when she was a student in London and pursued a degree in public relations in the London College of Communication. [3][4] Her maternal grandmother left her money.
