Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is an American musician from Greece and the founder of heavy metal band Motley Crue. As well as being the group's long-term drummer Lee was the founder of the rap metal band Methods of Mayhem and has explored solo projects. Lee believes in PETA as well as animal rights. In 2010, Lee sent a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting the treatment of Tilikum the orca. Lee believed that the animal should be released and explained that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their main source of the sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure and was appalled by SeaWorld's sick and untrue methods to obtain Tilikum Sperm. Lee expressed his desire to prevent more tragedies like trainers dying due to this was caused by the whales' inability to be held in captivity.
