
Teri Lynn Hatcher is the daughter of Teri Hatcher, born in Palo Alto California on December 8th 1964. Her mother Esther was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer, and her father Owen was an electrical engineer and nuclear physicist. Teri was born by Esther. Teri took ballet classes at San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain, and was recognized with the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher was a graduate of De Anza College, where she studied engineering and mathematics. She also attended acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri confessed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone abused her sexually at the age of five. She helped Santa Clara County prosecutor with their case against Stone. Stone was responsible for the suicide of a 14-year old victim. Stone received a sentence in prison for pleading guilty to four counts of molestation, and he passed away from colon cancer while in prison.
